Thanks to all those who replied. Heads now unblocked, aligned etc & working perfectly.
Looks as though I should be switching off - me as well as the printer! Another quick question. Anyone any good ideas to get rid of only what I can describe as slight banding on the background of a light to dark gradation when printed? The really annoying thing is you can't see it at all when viewed at any% on the monitor, so there's no indication of how much, if any, noise to apply.
