Ellie, The best possible solution and the easiest would be to use Acrobat writer. Everyone (nearly) has acrobat on their machines, the format allows colour managed files, text, sound even video clips. It is easy to have indexes, keywords and web links best of all the file can be locked to prevent copying, printing etc
For the user, it is like flipping through a book with single or double pages with pictures, text etc. HTH?
