I think Paul Bradforth was right to pull up Paul Tansley for a rather unnecessarily terse reply.

Paul Tansley's message I thought was totally out of keeping with the informative/helpful, good natured tone on the Prodig list. People should remember it takes a new member time to get up to speed with a list and they should be cut some slack. Paul Tansley's words should not have made it onto Prodig. For a member to quit because he had the right instincts about a message and spoke out is plain wrong. As far as I can see he should be applauded and asked to stay.
Can I add my support to the above. I find Paul T's posts frequently knowledgeable but also sometimes arrogant & bullying. Paul B's response was a brief, moderate & appropriate response giving support to the subscriber who'd been viciously squashed by Paul T's aggressive & unhelpful post.
I welcomed Paul B's post & this list will be poorer without him. C'mon mums - pour some scanning oil on these turbulent waters.
