Stephen There's only one problem with the above method, SfW has a file size limit and I suspect most files created by pros will accede the limit. Creating an action and making a droplet is probably the best method for removing EXIF data from large files (batch rename them afterwards). I did write the steps and either posted them to this group or the Photoshop Discussion Group...They're definitely in my Photoshop 7.0 Essential Tips! <g> > It would seem to be a golden opportunity for a small developer to write a > classic Mac OS, OS X, Windows application (Java based perhaps?) so that > users can drag n drop multiple files onto an alias/shortcut of the > application and then have non image data stripped (one would ideally choose > which non image data is removed). I suspect something like BBedit can do it. I have BBEdit Lite, does its big brother accept scripts? Better still, can AppleScript do it? The link posted by Kevin Horton (http://www.sentex.net/~mwandel/jhead/) is a Windows only solution. Is there an AppleScript guru lurking who can take the source code of jHead remover and create an AppleScript? Malcolm Pasley, where are you? <g> --/ Shangara Singh :: Adobe Certified Expert ~ Photoshop 7.0 :: Adobe Photoshop 7.0 Essential Tips :: Exam Aids for Photoshop, Illustrator & Dreamweaver :: Http://www.shangarasingh.com =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
