I'd add, that there are plenty of programs for OSX available through version
tracker, that will enable you to deal with "problem" files in the bin. Sure
resorting to terminal as someone suggested, will work, but for anyone who is
not a "unix geek" it would be more advisable and more "mac like" to stick
with one of the widely available programs available, which have a pretty GUI
on the front end.
