those strong colours across the bottom of our testimage are beyond the
reach of almost any printer, some banding is almost inevitable as the
gamut edge is reached since even Perceptual can cause some
concatenation of tones. They seem to cause lot's of consternation and
may be removed soon since they are certainly not <photographic> in
intensity.
