Enough has really been said on this, but Michael slipped up, so I thought I would just add the slight correction:
So all software that rotates by 90 deg CW or CCW is lossless. Only non-multiples of 90deg will be lossless.
You meant to say 'lossy' at the end of the paragraph, Michael.
