Dear Mike

The BJP estimated that two years' output from all the colleges in the UK was equal to the number of full-time photographers in the country.

When I joined the panel of a college course evaluation board a few years back I was told by the Principal that "They didn't teach theory anymore". I was told by a third year student that Photoshop was for "Getting weird colours with." I was asked to give my professional input at the evaluation. Needless to say I was never invited back!

Scary huh? That means that currently there are about 9,000 would be "image
makers" supposedly learning how to do what...?
