Dear List, I have been pricing up Lyson Fotonic CIS for my 1290 and find that because of the cost difference between 4 and 6 colour systems it would not cost much more to start from scratch with a new 1160. I know the 1160 is well regarded for profiling and proofing but could it match a 6 colour printer for print quality on glossy papers (I'm thinking of soft grads, skin tones etc) where colour accuracy is not the overriding consideration?
