====================== This is an appeal on behalf of a human rights organisation called "Tomorrow Children" based in Benin, West Africa. Benin is one of the poorest countries with one of the worst infant mortality rates in the world and there is a major problem with children, some as young as six, being trafficked to other more prosperous countries in the region. "Tomorrow Children" is a registered NGO recognised by Anti Slavery International and UNICEF and does amazing work in the region trying to educate people about this 21st century slave trade as well as rescuing and rehabilitating children that have been taken to other countries. They desperately need a couple of digital cameras so they can document individual cases for use in their general education and information campaign. Ideally they should be simple and have an AC charger and if possible an instruction book. Age and quality are really immaterial - just anything that will record an image will be brilliant. So please, if anyone has an old dusty digital camera in the bottom of a drawer could they please let me know. I will gladly pay for any postage charges etc. Many thanks Mike St Maur Sheil T> + 44 (0) 1367 870 276 F> + 44 (0) 1367 870 641 M> + 44 (0) 7860 508 679 W> www.sheilphoto.co.uk ---------------------------- =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
