Sounds horribly familiar to me: I have just used a student recruited from a photographic college doing a degree course nearing the end of her second year. She was a really sweet kid, very neat and keen to learn - for a start she discovered you cannot carry heavy equipment when wearing raised heel shoes but then she had never had to move equipment before. When I asked her about her computer / Photoshop experience she told me that at her college the "computers and photoshop are for the design course students..."
