Obviously, the wholesale fish merchant is looking for a few "happy snaps" of
his merchandize for record purposes, which a modest digital camera and
minimum of skill will allow him to achieve. That is hardly worth considering
as a lost assignment for a skilled professional.

With much "kowtowing" to beg the listmom's indulgence may I add that
although living near a picturesque lake with an angling club, in one of the
northern suburbs of Mumbai, I do not possess a fishing rod for the simple
reason that the water is so polluted, thanks to a few industrial units
nearby, the fish is fresh but almost inedible !

On the otherhand, there is a small colletion of plants of red hot Chinese
chillies in my balcony garden. I have them because you cannot get them any
fresher and the tangy taste is different than the Indian variety. Besides,
you don't get them locally.Hopefully, tomorrow I shall make them nationally
famous by sprinkling a few diced pieces on a new kind of pizza to be
launched nationally. Chinese chillies on a pizza? You may well ask. Well,
because it is "Chinese Pizza". Now, that's true globilization !

My path of discoveries with the Minolta Dimage 7Hi is indeed adventureous.
Has thrown up questions, which I hope to trawl first from the Archive . In
the meantime thanks to Tim Mimpriss, Shanghara Singh and Michael Wilkinson
to nudge me along the way.
