Andreas, I hope you have the data elsewhere......
Try a disk recovery service, but do not expect help from LaCie. They describe these big disks as "Archive", but not backup. In other words don't trust them. I had a 200Gb LaCie disk fail in the same way a few months ago. Frequently the problem is failure of the firewire bridge in which case the disk is OK, but taking it out of the case invalidates the warranty (2yrs). The very best of luck is all I can offer.
