My name is Clare Parker, I am the MD of The Anthony
Blake Photo Library - UK based specialist in food and drink
images.
I am looking to buy a new scanner and would very
much appreciate advice on what hardware would best suit our requirements
and anything which should be avoided!
- PC, Windows 98 compatible.
- Mult-format (ideally transparencies up to 5"x4"
but at least 6x9cm).
- Firewire/USB connection preferred.
- Have been looking at Nikon 8000ED / Minolta
Dimage Multi Pro / Umax flatbeds: any feedback on these scanners would be
welcomed.
- Like the idea of Digital ICE technology - any
feedback on pros/cons appreciated.
- Don't have the money for an Imacon, can spend
�1500 - �2000.
- If anyone has good quality second-hand scanner
which meets our requirements, please let me know.
