Sorry listmom if this is not directly to do with digital photography but it is to do with handling my digital photo files so hoped you will excuse me.
I find that when I am using OSX and doing a bulk action in Photoshop which is dropping each file into a folder, if that folder is open on the window it does not show each file as it is placed in the folder - this used to happen with 0S9. If I click on the folder to close it and then re-open it the new files are shown - am I missing some setting which enables me tio see the files as they are placed in the folder. Also if I am selecting alternate files from a folder in OS9 I could simply Shift + Click and select whichever files I wanted leaving out files in between. This if I had Tiff and Jpg files with the same numbers in one folder I could simply select the alternate jpg files and shift them to another folder. However OSX selects all files in the block between any two files on which I have done Shift + Click. Again is there any keystroke which enables me to select alternate files in a folder.
