Try Snappy snaps in Holborn, seriously. Q labbed and reliable Tell them I sent you and you may get a better price. I know it sounds ridiculous but they've always been decent. Also they are used by loads of agencies. Metro's will cost both you and your client an arm and a leg...

Having praised Boots digital service here a few months ago, I am now having
problems.

I've got 230 images on a CD (5"x7" at 300dpi sRGB). They are .jpgs, about
1MB each.

My client has asked for 4 sets of photos. One branch of Boots took 48 hours
to produce 1 set and then refused to do any further sets (they weren't able
to do any other work for that period, they claim!), while another branch say
they would need a week.

I am waiting to hear back from Metro with a price, but I'm sure my client
won't like it. Another local minilab have quoted a 'special discount price'
of 350.

Does anyone know of any more enlightened, yet good, labs that would charge a
price closer to Boots' (which was unfortunately quoted to the client) which
is 25p for each print, then half that for reprints?

Any thoughts, as always, gratefully received.
