I think I've solved it now though. The culprit being Photo Mechanic. Since installing it all images now open to a larger percentage size. Before all imported images came in at a screen size of 33.33%. They now import to almost screen size. By putting two Zoom Out's in to the action all droplets now work ok.
It's odd that should Photo Mechanic should effect PS's screen sizing.
