Just installed an Epson SP 10000 this week. I have been making custom profiles (RGB) using the "No color adjustment" driver setting and I am overall very pleased with the results - btw - has anyone tried making profiles using other settings?. I am not using a RIP with it so far, just printing directly out from the applications (95% PS7). The printer is not a CF verison - i.e. not using the Epson Color Fast inkset, it uses Epson's "Photographic Ink" and there is no info about the expected life of prints - indoor use. Does anyone here have a clue about that?
If I wanted to get a RIP for the printer, what do you guys like - which one gives the most bang for buck? I have it hooked up to a Mac running OsX for now, but I can just as well hook it to a PC...
Any tips from current users regarding this printer are very welcome.
