Hi,
I recently addressed this topic whilst replying on the subject of resetting
windows preferences, which was perhaps not the best place for it.
I have recently attached a second monitor to my computer via the DVI socket
on an AGP card, I thought for novelties sake that I would try and use the
calibration software that came with the second monitor, as it has dual
monitor support and the results were appalling, the final results on the two
monitors could not be further apart! I reset the original monitor and
recalibrated using Adobe Gamma, which I know is not perfect, but Its better
than nothing. The problem is that I cannot calibrate the second monitor at
all with it, as even swapping the Primary monitor tag to the new monitor has
no effect, adobe gamma just continues to adjust the original monitor. Is
there anyway around this? Although my second monitor isn't as important when
it comes to image viewing It would still help if it looked vaguely like the
primary one.
Regards,
Mark Harvey
