The physical capacity of the drive is 20GB, it�s the file structure (NTFS, FAT etc) or in other words, the way that you format it that affects the capacity and this will tie to your OS. Disregarding whether or not an OS in existence that does actually utilise every last bit and byte, the product itself has that data carrying capacity, whether it can be fully utilised or not.
