Bob, Where do I find out more? Excellent post and right on the money - you even got the digital angle in! I'm new as a professional and just starting to get a (half)decent income, luckily with another source to help. However, the RF thing is worrying. If so many pro photographers have spent such a long time learning new digital skills, surely digital printing has to be the ideal way of hitting back at some of the frustrations of the job - people who are ignorant about colour management, printers that blame the photographer etc. Most good photographers that have a good grasp of Photoshop could probably output small runs of brochures etc if it was paying enough. OK, so it might not be why you got into photography, but at least you're in control again. I'll be making the trip to Olympia from the North East - anyone want to share the travel cost? Neill Watson.
