so the monitor is profiled. But why is there still a difference when
viewing a photo on Adobe photoshop and on ACDSee?? Which one is the
correct one, and how do I make both display the same??

Dear Micheal,

I've never used acdsee. But in Nion view and other programs in the
preferences there should be a colour managemnt, section which should
tell the program to use the monitor profile. If it's the wrong one just
change it to your default calibrated profile. If you havemt got the
option then your version is not icc savvy and theres nothing you can do
about it apart from get a thumbnail program that is.

cheers
