I just carry an iBook with a automobile power cable, and fully charged batteries to download photos to. The 12" iBook is perfect for field work!

BTW, the same 2 gb CF card transferred to my FlashTrax in about a half hour.
So the power drain seem to be more than expected and performance less than
promised, at least for heavy duty users on remote locations.
