Does anyone know what the saving is using a CIS system on the 2200 (2100 UK) stocked with large format Epson UltraChrome inks? The 2200 seems to gobble up the standard cartridges at high rate. Furthermore, the cartridge seems to have some ink left after the software has computed the consumption and says the cartridge is empty. I would like to stay with the UltraChrome inks. I and understand you can purchase CIS systems without ink, purchase large format UltraChrome bottles, break them open and stock the CIS. Do any of you have experience with this idea?
