I have 2 basic questions concerning the new PS when working on a Mac.
1. Does it only work on OS X?
If you're on a MAC - then yes, only OSX, 10.2.4 or later, but of course there is also a Windows version though I'm sure that's not what you meant.
2. I’ve heard a rumour that when you first use CS after upgrading it wants to log on to Adobe in order to become active & it is therefore designed to operate on 1 machine only. True or false? If true what happens if the machine you want to use it on isn’t connected to the web?
I believe that's true for the Windows version but not for the MAC one. Certainly that will also come to Macs in the future. The authentication process can also be carried out on the phone
