Paul and all

You can see more of the Ultima 35 on the Cambo web site http://www.cambo com (I have to declare an interest here as it is one of my sites (though I wouldn't put it up as a great example of my current work - it is now an updated 4 year old site!)

In my days at KJP (along with our sister companies Bowens and Cambo) I was closely involved with the design of the original Ultima and I believe it to be a very well thought out and constructed camera, one of the first to really take account of the needs of digital versus film on a camera with movements. I think the Ultima 35 configuration is VERY interesting and I know that it has been well received by professionals (ie - selling well)

This looks like an interesting camera form DSLR users. I guess this topic is
sort of apropos the thread about DSLR vs MF backs.

Has anyone tried it? I wonder how practical the adapter kits to rollfilm and
4x5 would be. If so then it seems like the best of all worlds. Digital where
possible and switch to film where required.

There will be a review in next weeks BJP which might be interesting.
