Hi everybody

this might sound like a basic question (and I apologise if it is) but could
somebody please tell me:
1. What is in quality terms really the difference of raw format and jpeg -
if TIFF is not available- should I always use the raw format (assuming I
have enough capacity on my capture cards?
2. Is the compression of JPEG compared to RAW so bad that it is visible?
3. Can PS especially the new CS handle and convert raw files or do I have to
use (as in my case) FujiFinepixViewer to process the RAW data from the Fuji
S7000?
4. Shold one always use the highest quality setting on the camera even if I
know that I will only use A4 size and therefore have to downsample the
images?

Many thanks
