Now that I'm getting familiar enough with Panther to poke around in the dark corners, I find that the ColorSync System Preference has been replaced by the ColorSync Utility.
What is unsettling is that I find no hint of AdobeRGB among the possibilities offered. Since this is the color space I would choose to use for my Nikon D1x, I would like my system to have some sort of acquaintance with it. Among other things, iView MediaPro now tells my to use ColorSync to assign profiles when downloading. Photoshop CS is now once again warning me when I open a file that the profile is not pleasing. Am I overlooking some way to make all my applications happy in Panther? -- Thomas S.
