Hello list
While I am still an assistant, I have recently begun
shooting, about time after 5+ years. My aim is to shoot people in fashion,
advertising and in any other area required. While I love to shoot film, my first
shoot was digital at the request of the client because they felt it was cheaper,
another story. As I am trying to make that transition from Assistant to
Photographer I need to promote myself more by means of a website. Now the
question:
I am building a site in Dreamweaver MX, (a program I had
never used before), can anyone offer any advice on how to link a rollover
thumbnail image to the larger image on the same page and subsequent images,
without another window opening. The layout must remain the same except the image
changing for each thumbnail I click on. I have seen this on many sites so
realise it can be done. I have designed the pages using Layers, have tried
using Named Anchors, Behaviours/ actions but must have missed something because
I cant seem to make it happen. I have looked into frames, but does the site have
to be built in frames from the start, as inserting a frame takes over the entire
document, I could do with avoiding starting again as this has been a long hard
struggle.
If anyone has any dreamweaver experience or can point me
in the right direction for some advice, I would be grateful.
Thanks in advance
