While I generally like Jaguar and Panther, and the stability they bring to the environment, it drives me CRAZY that Photoshop runs so bloody slow under it, compared to OS 9.
I'm running a Dual 500, a couple of extra ATA drives on separate channels, (one for the OS and applications, another for working files, and another for a separate scratch disk). Given plenty of RAM to PS, but the thing still lags. I assume upgrading to the newest and fastest might solve some of these problems. Does anyone else's experience confirm mine, or am I overlooking something else? (yes, I've repaired permissions etc...)
