Dear List

I have an ongoing problem with corrupt files from my D1X/D100 (both cameras,
and on various media).

A sample is on http://www.hansonphoto.co.uk/html/question_page.html . My
main problem is on my RAID 1 server (running XP Pro) - as I move files
around between folders, or even to burn CDs, I'm getting this problem on
somewhere around 1 in 200 files - not a strict mathematical relationship,
but more random. As my server was purchased as another route to back up my
data safely, this is obviously not ideal... The original files on the
back-up CDs are fine, and I can replace the corrupted files from there -
however, it shouldn't be like this, and its wasting a lot of time.

Has anyone come across this before (particularly on RAID arrays), and if so,
please can I have details, as the manufacturer of the server, while
concerned, has never come across this either, and we haven't got very far
yet (though it looks like its going back to them...).

Thanks

R
