I just wanted to let you know how things were "progressing" I was about to send them a file converted to Apple RGB but they have just answered one of my messages and say they use AdobeRGB, so I'm back to being confused. Here is their first message followed by their second. I have preceded my words with > ----------------------------- > I think the problem is of "colour spaces". In your submission guideline > letter you only say "RGB" but what colour space are you using? no color space at all > Is it ColorMatch RGB or perhaps Apple RGB ? APPLE 1998 RGB THE SCREAN MUST BE IN 6500 Kelvin DEGREE and after you have to put the calibrator sonde on your screan and chose in the calibrator option, the option 6500 Kelvin degree ------------------------------------ >Can you tell me what application you use for viewing my pictures. Is it >Photoshop, IE, safari or a different application? >If photoshop what version, 7? we have a look to your images with Photoshop 7 >What do you have ticked in the "View menu" > "Proof setup" is it Macintosh >RGB or Monitor RGB or something different? We selected "Monitor 1" on our screan >In the "View menu" do you have "proof colors" ticked? I don't understand >If it's in French just tell me the French and I'll translate to English. >You say your colour space is APPLE 1998 RGB >There is no Apple 1998 RGB >Do you mean Apple RGB or Adobe 1998 RGB ? YES IT'S ADOBE 1998 RGB ------------------------------------------ I tried to ring them to ask if they are using PC or Mac. But they'd already put the answerphone on. We thought it must be Mac but now they are saying Adobe 1998! Is "monitor 1" significant? I think it was suggested they might be viewing in their monitor profile. Would this confirm that? If so, what next? Any more suggestions would be gratefully received.
