Simon and others, While I am a "new kid on the block" on this list, I have certainly enjoyed it. I work on both platforms, but 98% of the digital work is on a Mac G4 dual and now a G4 laptop. I would love some form of compromise also, I receive 400-500 e-mails a day and would love to cut out some of them rather than join another list.
But, I will certainly comply with what ever is decided. Best, John Douglas ( who has been using OS X since it came out and still has to go back to OS9 to print on an Epson 1270 ) > I would hate to see issues with Operating Systems, particularly Macs, > be banished for several reasons: > > 1) I don't want to have to sign up to yet more lists. > > 2) OSs are absolutely integral to what we do, particularly MacOS.... > yeah, Ok, the other OS as well... > > Perhaps the compromise could be that people are permitted to ask the > questions here but answers are given off list.
