Hi Philip,

Now is the time I am able to provide useful information...

I bought a DELSEY PRO DIGITAL 33 BACKPACK, and I strongly recommend it. It's a Froggy stuff.

I have my 1Ds and the full set of lenses, two spare batteries, cards, Apple PB 15", booklets, maps and so long, it's well designed very handily, robust. I had a look to the Tamrac before and Delsey win far before.

It don't looks like a photo bag (no redundant straps and zip), and in hazardous locations this is helpful. I must ad there is a lot of foam rubber and the gear is well protected.

Of course it's a backpack, your backbone will enjoy it.

I bought one more because I am afraid it could be discontinued. The only place I could found half past year was at B&H. I think Delsey made a test there, I don't know an other place to buy it. Do a Google search.

With this issue my personal opinion is to keep my eggs in the same basket in order to keep them close to me, instead of living them in the empty car.

You will find all the infos, size, weight ect at B&H...

Best regard.

I frequently bring my laptop with me on the field so I can upload
photos from the CF card and spot check my photos. Right now I am
carrying separate bags for the 15" Powerbook G4 and camera
equipment, and I am looking into the possibility of a combination
bag to replace both. Does anyone have any recommendations?
