I work in London making/ selling Fine Art Prints. Graduated from U.Derby and U.Westminster.
I started digital printing as soon as the first small Epson A4 printer came out. I used a lot of watercolour paper straight from the art shop. It was a huge saving on the very expensive coated paper you get now.
I can understand why photo sensitive paper cost what it does, but What annoys me is that the paper for sale now has been sprayed with what must be a relatively inexpensive substance.
I would certainly like to get hold of a formula with which I could coat my own paper. I would like to know the views of members about this.
Happy New Year
