Hi Richard

Try using the fit image command under the automate menu in photoshop. You
can set it to constrain the max height or width of each image to be 2100
pixels ( ie 7 inches at 300 dpi).

This can be incorporated into an action, batch action, or droplet & should
do the trick for all the pics in one go???
