>What do you call "huge"? >e.g. 144MB. Good Digital camera files are clean and can be adequate at 11Mp, but files from scanned film, even 6 * 6 cm @ 4,000 ppi, is 81Mp or 240MegaBytes.
On my HP I usually printed 6,000 * 9,000 pixels @1200ppi, on A3.
