Hi List, I would like to flatten layers sets with different blending modes within a multi layered file in photoshop, and keep the visual appearance of the linked items to be flattened, whilst still keeping other different layers active and editable. Every time attempt this the appearance of the linked layers seems to alter, I think reverting to 'normal' blend modes. I know that I can flatten the whole file staring from the background layer up and all his fine-except that I can't edit the layers I want to any more.
The result of keeping all the layers till the end is a mega-RAM-busting file. Am I missing something embarrassingly obvious or is this a no-no?
