A week or so ago, someone posted the address of a site detailing the various DVD formats and compatibility and was an interesting read. Does anyone use DVD-RAM? Apparently it is good for archiving because of fast access to the stored files , but the discs are expensive. DVD-R's seem to be the commonly available media as the format is PC compatible and are cheaper! My lacie writer will do all formats - do I go with DVD-R, assuming this format (as suggested on the site) is becoming the "standard", accept slower speed searching and drink lots of tea!?
Thanks,
Paul Debois
