Had an S1 go belly up a couple of years ago...fuji fixed it in a week, no charge...the S2 so far has been faultless!!
Nikon pro will lend you a replacement camera (if they have one in stock)...my D1X took six weeks to fix a faulty shutter...and they tried to charge me for it when they had already said it was under warranty...
