There is an old thread in which we discussed some of this options. I recall I was strongly suggesting the PocketWizards and some interesting remarks showed up in favor of Quantum ( and Wein, but in this case the money difference is huge) for digital gear ,but can't remember well. Perhaps it makes sense to check the archives and review that info too. I can't but praise the Pocket Wizards, since in 2 years they have NEVER failed, not even one single trigger ( transmitter in cameras hot shoe, but also has the option of plugging to PC sync), and that record easily surpasses my previous experience with Quantums of all forms and shapes. My most recent quantums are in the hands of my asisstant and I don't even think about them. > The kit will cost around 600 but it only has to be bought once. That is a dramatic price for wireless radio triggering. The "normal" pocket wizard kit ( Plus version, with both units in a box) is around 350$ and you need to buy the cables that fit your system(bowens, Profoto, Elinchrome etc) ,so add some extra 30-40 bucks in cables and back ups. Can't figure out why you paid all that money.
