I've got a problem right now with two of my 3 lacie drives not being seen on my network .. I can see that it is because the ownership and permissions (info pane) isn't enabling group access to the drives ( as it is in the lacie that i can see ) but there is no way of changing this as the expected options are not present in the ownership/permissions pane.
So .. my question is > is this something i should fix with 'repair permissions' in 'disk utility' or am i missing something ? - also - is it safe to do this bearing in mind they are my hi/res archives
