I seem to remember a thread recently, flagging up concerns about the chlorine in plastic CD sleeves gradually degrading the surface of the CD so that they become unreadable after several years.
I use sleeves manufactured by Merit. Whilst these are called 'fabric' sleeves, they appear to be plastic coated. Does anyone know whether such sleeves are safe for archiving or would they recommend using something else? If the latter, any good suppliers in the UK? Thanks for any help you can give.
