Hi list. I have been playing with the Shiraz RIP and now I am trying to make a custom profile. I want to use my Xrite DTP41 to linearize but it doesnt show up in the instrument list. I have it connected to a Mac running Os 9.2.2 through a keyspan twin USB adapter and the Keyspan control panel says that everything is OK - but stil nothing in the instrument list!
On Monday I am installing a Shiraz RIP for an Epson 7600 and there the RIP is going to run on a PC using winXP. I am wondering if I am going to have problems with that as well? Of course the PC has the Serial COM port where I can connect the Xrite directly, but I am wondering if I am going to need a driver of some sort? Does anyone have a clue, there is nothing about this in the Shiraz manual.
