Evening All An artist friend would like me to produce a limited run of prints from his watercolour originals and has seen some prints on Fuji Hunt Canvas and really likes the finish.
However I print using Lyson Fotonic Inks and I was interested in the following:- 1.) Anybody tried Fotonic Inks with Fuji Hunt Canvas - does it work and can it be easily and successfully profiled. 2.) As my friend would like to sell these prints I am concerned that mixing ink/paper suppliers may have an effect on print life/permanence. In addition to the unusual disclaimer regarding "bright sunlight" and "humidity" are there any other issues to consider. 3.) The final prints would be sold on stretchers, but are not designed to be framed - a "modern" concept he tells me. Should we protect the finish using something like Lysons Print Guard? Any thoughts, recommendations or www sites to research would be gratefully received.
