I need to remove the plain blue sky from a shot of a red helicopter taken from rear and below, so I can place it against a different background. The problem I keep coming up against is where the rotor blade blur graduates from nothing to solid, I can't remove the sky in a natural looking graduation. I also need the blur to be transparent so that the new background fades naturally through it. I have tried everything I know, but if anyone has any ideas, I would like to hear from them.
