Have a look on the test from Rob Galbraith on dpreview, and luminuslandscape too. The 14n is quoted far better than the 1Ds, in sunny light; but far worst in twilight, or overcast.
Now the picts on the WS are *all* daylight... Be cautious before taking a decision.
