Another question, perhaps rather basic, about the S2. I've never needed to
use anything out of the ordinary (mostly leave the 28-70 in place) but does
any S2 user know why the list of "forbidden" lenses etc includes the K1 and
K2 extension rings? I see no reason why they should cause damage, and I've
used the K1 ring (the skinniest Nikon ever made) with great success on film
bodies, like it a lot because you can get really close with WA lenses for
interesting effect. I mean, it's just a bog-standard Nikon F mount...
