It works just as well as heavy duty ring main cable on your hi-fi speakers. I have 25 metres of oxygen free linear crystalline 45 amp cooker cable if you need some. To be serious there is some slight chromatic aberration/fringing (which I feel is more from the chip than the lens) and a slight hint of barrel distortion in some instances but overall the lens works extremely well.
