Hi Andy , 

You'll find single shot good for most scenarios but 4-shot comes into its 
own on certain demanding subjects ( Fine detail in saturated colours 
especially .16 shot is stonking , haven't yet had to do 16 shot and 
macroscan as 500 Mb files in 16 bit are big enough for most purposes :-)

Lots to talk about , but little time now ( I'll mail you off list with a 
'phone number and maybe you could call next week, or if everybody wants 
boring I'll write longer later ) .  P3 is definite advantage when doing 
close-up , and you can buy it as an adaptor kit to fit P2.

Had the 54 almost since it's inception . Like all kit it has its 
'foibles' but wouldn't part with it for any other back right now.
