Hi Andy , You'll find single shot good for most scenarios but 4-shot comes into its own on certain demanding subjects ( Fine detail in saturated colours especially .16 shot is stonking , haven't yet had to do 16 shot and macroscan as 500 Mb files in 16 bit are big enough for most purposes :-) ). >Any other insights into the merits or not of the Sinar 54, or P3 greatly >appreciated. P3 is definite advantage when doing close-up , and you can buy it as an adaptor kit to fit P2. Had the 54 almost since it's inception .
